Fall means time for leaf-peeping, and yellow ginkgos are among my favorites. Luckily for me, they're quite plentiful; as of 2015, ginkgos were among the top ten species citywide with 21,024 ginkgos recorded out of 683,788 trees total.
This dataset only contains street trees, but some of my favorite ginkgos in the city are in parks. New York City's tree census happens once every ten years, and the 2025 tree census is already underway!
